① How to choose standard weights
The selected standard weight can be a grade weight or an equal weight, but its error (mass tolerance for grade weights and verification accuracy for equal weights) must not exceed 13% of the maximum allowable error of the verified balance under that load; Secondly, the range of standard weights can cover the large weighing range of electronic scales.
② Exemption from inspection of standard weights
(1) When d ≤ 1mg, an electronic balance can be exempted from testing its discriminatory power
(2) When e ≠ d, an electronic balance is exempt from checking its discriminatory power
(3) For scales with digital indicators and automatic or semi-automatic calibration devices, the sensitivity of the balance can be exempted from inspection
③ The issuance of verification certificates should be standardized
After the calibration of standard weights is completed, a calibration certificate or calibration result notification should be issued based on the actual calibration results.
